I've just seen that the last time I posted any news here was in July 2007. My life began to turn upside down around that time as Jeff was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. After various tests and consultations his prognosis was not good but we hoped for at least a few more years together and so I chose to be silent on this Blog while we dealt with this blow.




We had just a further year together as things turned out, and the diary of that year will make a whole other story, too painful to write for the moment. Jeff's fight ended in August 2008 and he is buried out here in Cyprus so at least we are still near to one another. I have spent the past 6 months trying to come to terms with just being me and not "us". It is hard. However, last month I went away on holiday to India and Nepal with a group of ex-pats from here and since returning I have decided that it would be a good point to pick up the threads again.
